Ahhhh
From the cockpit........you can see a little of my Bento Bag on the top tube and next to the steerer where I keep my camera handy for pictures. The mesh flap folds over and secures with velcro to keep the camera from bouncing out. Sometimes on windy days or when I have on long fingered gloves the flap will flop back over and I have to fiddle to get it open and the camera reseated.

^ Nice!
I have a Bento box like that too. The only thing I don't like about it is that my leg sometimes brushes up against it when I stand up to climb.

That's another place to bike. We did it in 2010.

That Coeur d'Alene trail is a great place to bike. If I lived there I'd do that trail all the time, and never have to worry about being hit by a car.
We did it in 2010.

Some unusual photos from today's ride.
Ran into some good friends, so I'm glad I had my camera:

This photo dedicated to the Bullshifters, who were out there in Congress, Arizona supporting RAAM/RAW riders. Check it out ... they actually has a swimming pool!
They also had some watermelon, a table full of old T-shirts from earlier rides for the taking and extra water bottles.
Not to mention, bathrooms and hot showers in the hotel behind us.
You guys rock!
And here's a look into the support van with our sag crew extraordinaire:

Coeur d' Fondo 2013
We rode part of the trail last year on the Coeur d' Fondo. It was in my recollection the worst day of cycling I've ever experienced. Very cold and rainy. This photo was taken 2 minutes before the start of the ride. No one wanted to stand in the street in the rain until the very last minute. The photo below my wife is putting on a brave face before the ride. We were totally unprepared for the cold temperatures and rain. I can imagine that on a beautiful day it would be an awesome ride.

Minnehaha Falls as seen on my commute home Wednesday. We've had a lot of flooding so the falls were going pretty good. The park was closed yesterday (Thanks, Obama!) He was actually right there giving a speech yesterday.

A few of the things I saw along the ride this morning. Don't you just love summer? The early cherries are ripe and the peaches, nectarines and apricots are just around the corner. The rest will be ready in the late summer/early fall. Now, where's the pie?
Apples Nectarines
Apricots Pears

We spent last weekend in the Eastern Sierra ... beautiful. But the most interesting thing I saw riding my bike around were these two gentlemen ... off on a lifelong walkabout.
