Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Haha i get it. but still. Just be smart about where you lock it, and use a good lock. And don't leave it out over night..

Yeah. I have to wear welder's goggles when I'm looking at it in sunlight. Gotta tell you, though, I get more shoutouts than on any other of my bieks when riding in my hood from the local kids on their bmx bikes and skateboards.

Ahh. I know how you feel. You should have a beater for whenever you wanna go out and lock it up somewhere- Its what I do. Otherwise just ride the schwinn whenever you know you wont have to lock it up, or can leave it somewhere safe.

New pedals. Dropped 300g over my Dura Ace pedals. First upgrade of many happening in the next couple weeks as I prepare for a century with 7600ft of elevation gain.

I had too much coffee earlier in the evening, so I went for a night ride (even after the rock climbing gym). Loving the way the geometry feels on this bike
(sorry for the picture quality btw)
