Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

I'm still waiting for the review of the ultimate titanium gravel bike Jayson got from Lynskey just before he got the ultimate titanium gravel bike from Litespeed.

Breaking News: Moosejaw is carrying bikes including Niner. Love to see more outlets for that (local for me at least).

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Has anyone actually seen an Ultegra level Jamis Renegade Elite?

I was in the market for an Ultegra level bike and decided on a Renegade Elite. I called shop after shop, told them I had cash and would be there the next day. From Raleigh NC to Florida and west to the Mississippi, not one shop could get it.

I even walked into Performance with cash in hand and tried to order one of the dumbed-down "Performance exclusive" Renegade Elites. The manager looked online, called headquarters in Chapel Hill and announced that they were not available in the US.

So I bought a Niner frame and built my own.

Expats and other models ride up and down the forest service roads in Georgia but I've never seen a Renegade Elite in real life. I'm sure the Jamis was a great bike but I can't ride a bike which doesn't exist.

Revolt Advanced 0 is a better bang for the buck. Ultegra and a carbon wheelset and carbon seatpost. $235 less than the Renegate Elite.
