Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

MapMyFitness subscription for tracking my rides.

The particular app tracks cycling, integrates with my Diet/Calorie app (LoseIt!) for a seamless report, and can be monitored online.

There's something not right about a Brooks saddle mounted atop a Zipp post.

It’s aluminum. 2 bolt micro adjustment like my old Campy. What’s your issue?

I wasn't very impressed by the tape supplied by Light Bicycle. When I removed the rear tire(after 3156 miles) the tape was peeling up around the edges. When I installed the new tire, the old tape held air without sealant, but I'd rather be cautious.

Thanks for the G-One Speed tire recommendation. That tire is exactly what I was looking for.

Mr Unreasonably Sensitive is asking about *my* issue? Chill, bruh - I'm poking mild fun at the performance brand mixed with the decidedly not-performance-oriented brand (along with the rest of the bike, for that matter).

Light Bicycle WR56C02. Found out about these in the “Light Bicycle Wheels” thread. Couldn’t stop drooling over how wide these are (23i, 30e). And cheap (“cheap”). And aero. And light. I was a bit hesitant to go with Chinese wheels because of rim braking, but the temptation was too great. I'll be posting about them in the LB thread (along with all the others who have used these). Just wanted to give these wheels the exposure I think they deserve (on paper at least).

The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.

I have two of the Bean jerseys. Not too tight, not a tent either.

Nice looking kit! I'm a newbie drummer myself - just started in November (2018), and loving it! I figure I should probably learn to play and figure out my preferences before upgrading from my beginner drumset. Just like with cycling...

That was a nice surprise, at first I thought it was a mistake. I ordered a Lezyne headlight and a water bottle.
