Louis Garneau Shoes
Can anyone tell me how Louis Garneau Shoes fit? Are they wide in the Toebox or narrow like Sidis? I have older Nike road shoes in 44 Wide that fit perfect(snug on the heel and a slightly roomy toebox)but have seen better days, ofcoarse they don't make cycling shoes anymore.
I've tried a bunch of shoes Sidis(tight toebox) ,Mega(sloppy heal) ,Northwave Aerator(Too Loose,Too Tall Toe Box),Diadora(tight), Lakes (close but a little snug),and Pearl Izumi(weird preasure on my toes).
I know I could go custom ,but I really can't afford that now .I'm looking to spend up to about $150.

I also have wide feet. I have not tried on Garneau bicycling shoes but I do have some Garneau GP racing type motorcycling boots and they are too narrow for me

I just bought a pair of LG shoes to replace some ancient Time shoes...
My feet are narrow in the heel, bit wider in the forefoot, and I like a roomier toebox (by way of example, Nike running shoes are too pointy for me).
I got the ErgoAir Revo shoes. I ordered a 45 and found the size to run true...perhaps could get away with the 44.5. Toebox roomy, a little room in the heal, but I could take care of that with the buckle tongue much comfier than the old shoes.
Downside, the soul is not quite as stiff as my old shoes (not carbon, old ones were).
Bottom line, I'm satisfied...however if I were doing it again, I might try the Spiuk shoes from PBK featured in a recent thread.
Hope that helps, and as usual YMMV

They do have a roomier toe box, which is why I bought them. Satisfied customer.

Which model did you buy? Do you find the sole flexy like MarkSch said?
Also MarkSch and Homebrew01 what size was your last pair of cycling Shoes and what Size street shoes do you wear?

I got the Ergo Air size 44, and I wear a size 10 street shoe. I could probably have gone 1/2 size smaller. They don't seem flexy to me.

My Time shoes were 45s
Street Shoe: 11 US
I bought 45 LG shoes....could probably have gone with 44.5, but the 45 definitely works.
I don't find the soles as flexy as the old leather soles of my first diadora shoes way back when, but they aren't as solid as the Time soles.
