How come hardly any bikes posted here have pumps?
Does everyone take them off for the photo or do people really ride around with no bike pump? Does everyone call Uber when they get a flat?

Most people carry them on the jersey pocket. I personally use a storage bottle for that. I used to have it on the frame, but it gets dirty and you risk it coming off in rough terrain.

I never leave the house without a tube, patch kit, and pump. I keep them in my messenger bag or a pannier, not attached to the bike.

I carry a pump on every ride. Strapped to the frame and never lost one yet but I have lost a few blinky lights. If I post a picture of the left side of my bike, you'd see it.
I like the storage bottle idea posted above for tools though. I went cheap as in free and I use a coffee creamer container (or was it Nestle malted milk container?). Great for heavy dense tools and small parts. I've done multiple gravel tours with that velcroed into in a bottle cage and it works great. I shove a few latex gloves in to keep stuff from rattling around when off road. I don't carry enough tools and spare parts on my normal local rides that I need it.

Here you go. I don't care if it doesn't look hip, I've been stranded once because of C02's. And why carry a pump in my jersey when it has a frame mount. There is no reason. And it's even a Bell pump from Walmart on a super duper carbon disc race bike. Works great and looks alright after I peeled off the Bell sticker, it's brushed aluminum.

Non omnino gravis
Mini-pumps on both of my bikes, nestled on the lefthand side of the seattube bottle cage. Basically invisible if the photo is from the drive side, and why wouldn't a photo be from the drive side?

In at least some cases, I would imagine the owner is probably wearing the pumps, whist prancing about, snapping studio-quality pictures of said fancy velocipede.

I normally carry a pump. I still have a couple of zefal HP frame pumps. I also have mini pumps on my other bikes. I just don't post too many photos of my bikes

I wouldn't dare ruin the aesthetic of my road bike with a pump. My mechanic gets out of my team car and replaces the wheel if I flat.
When I tour, my pump goes in one of my panniers.

my pump is in my trunk bag. stays nice & dry & clean. I also carry a CO2 inflator & a few cartridges

As long as roughly 6 times the air pressure is required inside my tires compared to outside and punctures can happen, I"ll carry a real pump of all my bikes. The only reason the OP doesn't see them is that I don't find a camera necessary to ride. All my bikes have Zephal pumps; HPs, HPXs and Classics. (THe Classic is just an HPX that looks like an HP.)

All of my bikes have pumps attached, or in the saddle bag with the rest of the stuff for fixing a flat. However, I might leave that bag at home if I'm just riding around town or am willing to take the risk. Someone once emptied my saddle bag while my bike was parked somewhere. A few miles is not too far to walk, and flats have become extremely rare for me since I installed puncture resistant tires.
