Any bike stuff on your Christmas wish list?
I'd say a new bike computer or new light set would be at the top of my list. I made a little video of items I personally would love to get, but would be good ideas if you're looking for things to get for your cycling family or friends:

I think my whole list's bike stuff starting with a Merida Silex 400 although I asked everybody for money for b'day in Oct towards it and will do the same for Xmas as well ... the other bits are all things like mudguards for it, riding trousers, bottle mounts etc.

New bars and stem - my current set have been on the go for ~20 years, and this would also bring me up to speed with the 31.8mm standard for accessory mounts etc

Ive just come across the Geotekk "Limpet" (on sale on kickstarter so not available until May!)... is a GPS device with an alarm that is clamped below the seatpost and is connected to an app.
Not sure if it being a visible/audible deterrent makes it better or worse than the existing invisible GPS tracker security products... (E.g. Sherlock Box)

Repair stand. Speaking of which, any recommendations? I like the idea of one with folding legs, since we really don't have enough space for a permanent stand.

I am looking forward to a Surly ECR 27.5 fork to replace my slightly wonky current aluminum fork. It will be much stronger and have lots of options to carry things on it, too!
Oh, you mean you're looking forward to a container of white paint ? At least here, I really wish cyclists would get more to the center of the designers mindset. Quite a few things happening, but you can clearly see that the stuff is designed by people driving cars.

If I were asking for a folding repair stand for X-mas, I'd probably ask for a Park or a Feedback stand. Those would be my top choices, but anything with a wide base and the ability to rotate the bike would work. I made this video about 3 weeks ago on not only what features to look for in a repair stand, but tips on how to get the most out of a repair stand and not damage your bike in the process:

A new chain for my trike. It has 12000 miles on it, and the chain tool says it is now time to change it. BTW I lube my chains with Mobil 1 oil.

Elbow pads and a new helmet - and possibly a new bike, though I'm tempted to ask for a set of studded tires, fenders and winter riding gear instead. I went OTB in September and feel like my riding season ended prematurely. Now I'm healed up and feeling a bit confined and out of shape.

Having the bikes out of the way of everything else would be helpful. I'd like to get one of the Versa motorized hanging 12-bike racks for the garage ceiling. I have the perfect open space in the rafters for it and getting the bikes off the wall they currently hang on would free me up to put windows high in that wall and then add an L-shaped workbench in the area, along with insulation and paneling and receptacles and lighting. However, even if I had the rack right now I'm those two projects away from having the shop as I want it, and those two projects would have to get in line behind all the rest of the non-bike projects.
