Only shop in my town that will install tubulars is $60 per wheel PLUS supplies.
I was friends with one shop owner that wouldn’t do it. He explained his insurance company charged significantly more if he did tubulars, more than he could possibly make doing it. So he passed on it.

1986 Nashbar Race SIS
I know this thread is ancient, but I just came across it, and figured I'd respond.
This aforementioned bike is a 1986 Nashbar Race S.I.S., which came stock with the full Shimano 600EX SIS groupo, Wolber Gentleman GTA wheels with 600EX hubs, 36 spoke if I recall, I forget the tires it came with, as I swapped mine out immediately. I still own one of these bikes with a number of upgrades. This was my first serious road bike, when I was 15 years old. Fluted seat post, ventilated Selle Italia Turbo saddle in white leather, Plearl stem, Shimano headset, I think that mainly covers the features. These are a few pics of mine currently: As I mentioned, I changed a lot of stuff. new threaded headset, carbon fork, new stem and handlebars, indexed brake levers, 7sp rear der. and cassette, new wheels and tires, new saddle not pictured, etc..
