I don't see where the apology is in order, really. Simply dropping (or barging) in because one has taken a sudden fancy to (chromed) Paramounts could be construed as a waste of everyone's time. And the name-calling misspelling is uncalled for and immature -- if you're going to stick around, please be civil.

Actually it is a 23 lb bike that was 3rd from the top in the Fuji line for 1986.

tandem 20"

with the pink banana seat? i'm telling you. coaster brakes on a tandem seem a bit odd.

(at least I've never seen one before, so thought I'd chime in.

I agree. Is there really a need to post EVERY road bike older than 10 years on the Boston CL in this thread? Don't mean to offend Rocket-Sauce, but it seems a little over the top and clogs it up a bit.

I actually appreciate it being local, but I'm sure people from other locations get annoyed.

Schwinn 1988 Voyageur

"Vintage touring bike equipt with Shimano Deore derailer dia comp cantaleaver brakes ,Sake stem and seatpoast and triple ring Crankset for a total of 18 speeds. It has 3sets of water bottle braze ons , front rack braze ons and it has a rear mounted panier rack. This is a 21" frame with a stand over height of 31" The frame is made very strong with columbus tubing and all joints ar lugged for strength.
I feel this bike would be great on a cross country trip and has seen many miles but has alot of miles yet to see."

Seems to be an alright deal, it IS in Winnipeg though...

Well so many are overpriced, it's kind of pointless. If I wanted to check out the Boston section exclusively, I'd just do it.

Is it really that hard to scroll on by?

Besides, I've seen him post several drool-worthy bikes, where if I had the money and space for another, I might be talking to a few BFers about help with shipping.

Now I see another flaw...cable exits from the bar tape don't match...crap! That's an easy fix though...
