Chicken Tikka Masala is going to hopefully power my afternoon gravel ride. That and a sprinkling of halloween candy. Happy November everyone! It's going to be 70F here tomorrow apparently.

Mass transit strike in Philly started today. Think I am going to keep hoofing it to work rather than riding. Lot's of impatient motorists out there.

Now that I've had time to reflect on my Sunday race. I raced as hard as I could. New Garmin powered down at the start, not a good way to start, got it restarted only missing a quarter mile or so... Then somehow in the barriers I dropped my chain, noticed after I was already remounted.... since I had good momentum I was able to shift to the big plate and pick the chain up, skills! The course, as fun as it was had two loose, damp dirt run ups..... My Shimano cleats and pedals did not agree with this and kept clogging so I lost precious time trying to get clipped back in after each run-up. All thing considered I had fun racing. Several times my skills prevailed when others were lacking. Not to say there were not problems, as there was plenty. Going into the first run-up in the last lap my left foot did not want to come unclipped, finally happened and dropped my bike on the drive side, stumbled but did not fall..... Ahhh the fun I had

It is, but that's somehow less fun. Mine is technically binary for one and nine together. More numbers are more fun. It's even better as the word nineteen spelled out, IMO.

That Cinzano video was an old one anyway, it belongs in last month's thread.
Binary is lame. Hex is for heroes. Carbo loading 13! FTW.

If you like hexadecimal, you should see my wifi passwords. Twenty six alphanumeric characters, baby! Just because.
In other news, first ride of the month, and the first ride over 50 miles since the "omg, I ran out of all of the energy in my body" incident.
Feelin' a'ight afterward, thankfully. Mother Nature is my riding partner: ReLive

Yes, but what do you name your Wi-Fi?
Something like "FBI Surveillance Van 10", "DEA", or "Buy your own internet"?

We used to have one near us called "I bet you won't get on". I tried so hard to figure out its password but never did.
Now we have Bill Nye the Science Fi, Bukkake Tsunami (seriously), and Bad *****es Only.
You can tell I live in a college town.

My neighbor across the street named his wifi "Notre Dame sucks", of course he's a comrade of @TrojanHorse. Another neighbor's is named "virus pool".
I have mine named "Access Denied"

Bought nice lights for the CX bike yesterday..... Mounted them and continued on my ride. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/117250
This light due to my oversize seat bag fell off about a mile from the bike shop. I noticed after arriving where I was going to do my CX skills workout. WTF! Had to retrace my path back to where I found it, laying in the street, undamaged. Will have to use this one on a road bike and use a different light on the CX bike.
