Serotta Racing Bike - $600 (Framingham, MA)
Date: 2011-12-04, 2:43PM EST
Reply to: sale-n8unu-2735645141@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
White frame with black & gold details, Shamano package, 18 speed, less than 600 miles on the bike, Mavic Rims, Elite Italiano Saddle, bike monitor, Salsa Chilli Handlbars. I am 5'6", with a 32" inseam, so the bike works best for a person who requires a shorter top tube. The frame is 52cm. I also have a rear wheel trainer that will be included that has only been used twice and is practically brand new. This bike has been taken care of and has always received annual tuneups prior to riding and was originally built up from the frame. The bike was only used for a few Crit races and short rides under 20 miles. Serious inquiries please.

Francesco Moser vintage Italian Columbus road bike - 48cm - $375 (East Boston)
Date: 2011-12-06, 1:33AM EST
Reply to: sale-2kjk8-2738400774@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
As much as I hate to let this bike go, I simply don't have the time to ride it or the money to keep it. I'm looking for someone who can opefully someone else can make better use of the bike than I can. I picked up the bike last Fall with intentions replace all the wear items (levers, brake and derailleur cable/housing, etc.), but never got the chance to. I will include all the items I've collected for the purpose, listed below under "Additional items included." The previous owner is a bike mechanic (from Harvard MA) who tuned up the bike up before selling it to me. The bike is functional except for a flat back tire.
The bicycle is a vintage Italian Francesco Moser, probably from the early 80's. There is amazing decorative detail work on the frame. To name a few: chromed fork and chainstay, pantographed lugs, and bottom bracket casting cutout. The cutout is my favorite detail of the frame; it reads FM for Francesco Moser. Decals on seat tube seem to be smudged in a shop stand clamp but all other decals look pretty good. And of course there is that cool graphic of Francesco on the head tube! Pictures below.
Here are the specifications:
-Columbus frame and fork
-Ofmega crank and headset
-Dura Ace front derailleur
-Shimano 600 rear derailleur
-Universal 68 brakes
-Campagnolo downtube shifters
-Campagnolo seat post.
-Campagnolo dropouts (one rear adjuster screw is bent).
-Nitto stem and drop bars
-Miche competition hubs and Araya rims
-Specialized 700 x 28C touring tires with gum walls (one flat)
Additional items included:
-new Soma Ensho saddle (black with yellow accent)
-used Shimano RSX aero brake levers
-complete yellow cork bar tape set
-5' of yellow brake cable housing
-pair of quick release skewers

For sale, a '88 Trek 560 Frame + Fork, headset and BB included. Top tube size ~54cm/21in. Price is $125 cash. Made in Wisconsin, USA from True Temper RC1 steel. Bodacious aqua/teal color. Really nice lugwork. Imron paint in remarkable condition with just a few touch-ups. Email for more pics. Include phone number with your email. This would make a great winter project; only selling to help fund a recent frame purchase.

I had a Domenics TT bike that I spoke to Domenic Malvestuto about and he confirmed that all frames were built by Tommasini. It's like buying a Trader Joe's brand product. Badged for TJ's but made by a (typically) high end, company.
