Some 60's are much more stable in crosswinds than others.
I ride 56 or 60mm depth rims all the time without many problems although the old zipps can be a handful.

I don't mind deep wheels, even in the wind, but I'm also 84kg, and the Ryot design handles really well in the wind. The Ryot55 is probably the perfect all around wheel for most people who don't want to go super deep. Works great with a 25mm or even 28mm tire, since the wheel is 31mm wide. If you're buying in the US from ffwd.com they come with a lifetime warranty.

I have a set of Ryot77s with FFWD's TwoOne hubs, they've been great. They're the same design as DT350 hubs (patent expired, so they're able to use the design). I also have a set of FFWD F3AD alloy wheels with DT350 hubs that have been bulletproof for three years. They make great wheels.
I don't mind deep wheels, even in the wind, but I'm also 84kg, and the Ryot design handles really well in the wind. The Ryot55 is probably the perfect all around wheel for most people who don't want to go super deep. Works great with a 25mm or even 28mm tire, since the wheel is 31mm wide. Finally had time to install tires (Vittoria Corsa G+ 25 mm) onto my new FFWD F4R wheels. But no time to install them or the SwissStop Black Prince pads they come with onto my bike yet.

Thank you! Wheels weigh 708 g [F] + 938 g [R] = 1,646 g [total] with rim tape but without skewers, so the specification of 1,610 g +/- 5% appears accurate, and compares well with my narrower and shallower Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels 718 g [F] + 908 g [R] = 1,626 g [total] without rim tape (which is not needed).
I have been riding Continental GP5K (front) and GP (rear), but I decided to leave those tires on my current wheels to (1) minimize work and (2) allow me to keep riding if the tire and tube installation on my new wheels go badly.
F4R have so many (20F & 24R) spokes! Speaking of spokes, FFWD Wheels F4R 45mm Tubeless Carbon Clincher Wheel Set (ffwdusa.com) states that the rear spoke lacing is 2:1, but both the photo of rear hub on the website and the actual rear wheel have 12 spokes per side laced 2X.
