Old but not in the way
Casual rider who lives on Atlanta's Silver Comet Trail. I'm 70 - so I get passed a lot - but keep riding for the exercise and fun of it.
Before retiring I did aircraft aerodynamics/performance, hence the username. But airplane people know it all started in a bike shop.
I ride a Rivendell Sam Hillborne on the Comet, and put on about 1000 to 1500 miles a year. Every few years my wife sets up a bike tour somewhere in Europe so I try to keep fit.

As another aero mech, welcome I almost thought the name reminded me of our aircraft supply house 'aero performance'

Thanks for the Welcome!
I can give not-so-sage advice on credit-card touring.
Otherwise, I'm thinking about assembling a (gasp!) road bike for the Comet.
