Bump.

Was given a sigma 16.12 with my caad 4 when I bought it in october. I recently put it on my bike and have ridden about 10 times with it. The cadence only works half the time and this last ride the speed only worked intermittently. I was searching for issues and came across this post.
I usually ride during the day so I don’t put my front light on my bike, this morning it was dark, so I had the light attached and on. Could this have been causing issues with the wireless sensors?
I checked the distance for the cadence and speed sensors and they were both good. It’s not telling me low battery but I guess that will be the next thing I check.
One other note the temperature when I started was 34 f. I don’t know if anybody has had similar issues.
Thanks

I do only Sigma! From time to time I tried some other computers for some other bikes and repeatedly went back humbled to Sigma. Their wired offering is shrinking, but if you are in EU or have some shipping address there, it is not all lost. You go to the spare parts on their website and they have old models there sold as spare parts on the cheap. Unfortunately, in my memory, they only ship to EU. I ordered a bunch of them and hopefully will get unified with them at some point in the next year.

People would be happier if you posted your own thread. Dragging up old ones means people answer the original question, and may not even see yours. We don't get a lot of "use search" answers here.

A lot of bike computers have problems when used along with a light. Bike lights can put out high frequency noise. Try using the computer without the light. there are plenty of threads here about lights interfering with wireless sensors. Not sure if there is really any fix

Don't know if you can link a search here https://www.bikeforums.net/search.php?searchid=7080366

OTOH, having a lot of info on a topic in one thread isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I like my wired Sigma, but the 'puter popped out of the mount some time before I noticed it, so I got only a couple of months out of it.
