Spotted on ebay, Velocity/Gran Compe tubular front wheel for $30, Surly cog for $10.
edit- shipping makes the wheel a little less of a deal, but still not bad.

Very nice frame! Curious where you plan to ride it. They say a track bike can't be ridden on the road.

If that's the case then why did they put hole in the fork for mounting a front brake?

I guess if you put a brake on then it is no longer a track bike.

Ugh. Great links, but I just waived bye to a bill. Did get 20% off competitive though. Thanks Broseph!

I've been eyeing that wind jacket for more than a week. So far, I've successfully convinced myself that a) I'm not fond of the color and b) I'm more of a vest kind of guy.

I hope they sell out, soon - I don't know if I can keep it up.

Looks like they raised the price 20 bucks. Should be easier to hold off now.

Fuji Roubaix Frame 49cm Blue $99 instead of $999

Fuji Roubaix Frame 49cm Blue

Sounds tempting since I'm thinking to build my first road bike after commuting for 26 years on MTBs, but a little clueless about road bikes. What is "BSA English threaded bottom bracket"? All I know is that the groupset I want is Shimano Sora R3500 but I have no idea if it will be compatible.
Is 4 lbs good for a steel frame? Should I go for aluminum of steel? (not interested on carbon since I assume it will rise the price to the clouds)

looks like I need some advice here.

That's standard BB threading. And I don't know where they got that $1000 figure from. That frame is probably worth $50.

$50? :O So they're selling it for twice its real value? Wow. I wonder if everything in their store works with the same logic...

50 would be appropriate IMO. Maybe less. It's an old frame that was never anything super special and it doesn't have a fork or headset, which means more shopping and another 50-150 cost on you depending on what you can source for the build.

And yeah, looking at their other frames I would say a lot of them are overpriced.

Surprised this thread's been quiet for so long...

Anyway, Ben's has All-City 612s for $100 right now if anyone needs a new set of cranks:

https://www.benscycle.com/all-city-6...16055_cr2909/p

Link shows the silver 170s but they've got the same price going for black and silver cranks in both 165 and 170.
