The region is too big and is basically made up of leftovers. What do Arizona and Oklahoma have in common?

Plus none of these states have huge bike communities. Tucson might be the biggest.

Bike Forums has a ton of orphan forums that just never caught on. There are about a dozen Phoenix area members in the Classic and Vintage forum but they don't check in here because nothing is happening.

Yes, thanks that is about what I’ve figured over the last week or so of jumping around in here. That’s ok though we will figure out who is active here or there one way or the other. Thanks for the response!

I took the weather comment to mean that we have great riding weather around here right now. Maybe not in the mountains, and I can't speak for Oklahoma.

We are retiring to Anthem, AZ in a few months and looking forward to the riding. Doesn’t seem to be any groups I could find but hoping to find folks that can direct me to some good biking routes.

Here's the Maricopa County bike map.

https://geo.azmag.gov/maps/bikemap/

I haven't ridden up in that area, but it looks like you can connect up with some pretty extensive "unsurfaced" trail networks.
