My Commuter/all rounder

I just wanted to post a picture of my bike because I like it a lot but no one around me gives a rip.
It's a 2013 CAADx frame from 2013 that I got with it's original wheels, crankset, and rear mech. I tried to keep the build simple because I like simple builds.

You are small like me. What is that, a 50cm frame?

Have you ridden with no hoods before? Is the top of the bars your primary hand position?

Close, 51cm. The next size up was 54, and the caadx standover runs quite large. I decided I'd rather deal with slighly too small than big.

I don't mind hoods, but I hate braking with road levers. I dance around a fair amount in heavy traffic so I like to be able to brake from the tops. I do hasty medium length road rides on the weekends (100k-120k) and love hunkering down to the front of the drops for those. I could see myself gutting out some hoods and using those for a longer tour or something, but as of now I don't feel the need.

These are Pauls levers, although I can't say which ones - I got them off a friend. They're super solid.

You could always get stoker levers. Much more control at the widest part of the bars.
