Seen on ******: Car passenger tries to door cyclist, gets car-ed instead

Well I don’t know if I should call this karma or what.

Saw an this video on a site that starts with r and ends with t: r/WTF/comments/bbvu28/got_hit_by_a_car_while_trying_to_hit_cyclists/

I guess it is just revenge. For bad behavior.

I recall joining You Tube for all the cool demolition videos. Then there is Whacked Out Sports if you have that show in your area. You get a lot of bikinis as a bonus, if you are into that.

But don't just take my word for it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmW...llnSBl6wGTi3SQ

What doesn't go with the territory is what happened in the video, which I'll describe because I doubt you saw it (not a criticism, btw, disguising the website name is making it difficult). The apparent teenage passenger is opening the door in a moving car trying to swing it into bicyclists. He leans out while doing that and is struck by a car going the other way. Looks like he was lucky not to have been decapitated.

that's not really dooring, I forget what the name is of that particular variety of sociopathy.

Sorry about the link being censored here, if they weren't hosting movie spam we would allow it.

Attempted assault with a deadly weapon would seem to be suitable. He's intentionally trying to hit people with a moving car. That's all of the elements of the crime.

Matt Lake appeared on Tosh.0 on November 1, 2011. Obviously nsfw, so no link.

No criticism taken livedarklions and thank you for describing the act in more detail.I actually searched on YouTu** of “Dooring” people.Intentional acts are horrendous to say the least.

I don't believe the car passenger in the video was intending to 'door' the cyclist. It looked more like he was trying to grab the cyclist's posterior or some other similarly-juvenile act. The driver got too close to the parked car, though.

I always wondered if the driver was part of the attempted prank. It seems like he'd have to be, although I sure wouldn't drive that close to a parked car knowing my door was open.

I was reading the comments on ******. It's interesting how some people had to explain to the Americans that the doctors had a primary duty of care regardless of fault. It's no wonder that Denmark is ranked as the #2 happiest country in which to live.
