Mountain biking in Chicago

Hi there I currently have a cannondale mountain bike. It has served me well and safe. I was just wondering if it be better for me to change the tires or get a smaller bike in general?

guessing we will need more clarification. what are your plans for riding that you are considering changing tires or needing a smaller bike? If you are looking for MTB trails in Chicago there is an app called mtb project that lists trails in your area.
