I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I have to wonder if any 22 year old driving a Porsche Cayenne in LA has any grounding in the real world. She probably turned her "problem" over to her family fixer.

She must not pay much attention to the news. As long as you don't leave the scene or aren't drunk it's okay to run over a cyclist. If she had stayed everything would be fine.
