N+1 Bike, N=1 tool bag

I purchased a bag that was easy to take off and put back on to use on which ever bike I'm riding that day. But I have went out with no tool bag.

So I thinking about two bags set up the same way.

What do you do?

I have a bag on each bike. Since they require different size tubes and multi-tool, it was the best option.

I have an Altura bag which fits on to the base of the saddle. I bought two extra clips so that the same bag can be moved instantly between my three bikes. The bag contains multitool, puncture kit, spare cables and a spare mtb and road tyre.

Hey, whatever works. Some bikes have diff requirements like tube size, torx bits, etc., so diff bags can be convenient. I have a bag on each of my road bikes but only a single set of contents I move between them.

Done it many times over the years, I get out in the country and realize my GPS, taillight, and tools are on the other bike.

I usually have that fleeting "what am I forgetting" thing but once rolling I am not going back

Each bike gets their own bag. In the bags I keep a spare non patched tube, patch kit, tire levers, three allen wrenches, an old 35 mm film plastic canister with quarters. Those quarters have been as valuable as my patch kit on long rides.
