Squeaky cleat. Again

Squeaky cleat. Again
I have 3 road bikes all with Look Keo pedals.
I use all 3 bikes with the same pair of road bike shoes.
Only on one of the bikes the right pedal-cleat squeaks.
If it starts squeaking it squeaks on every rev, but it doesn't squeak continuously.
On a ride I'll clickin and it will start squeaking. Then I cliclin and it won't.
I tried lubricating the cleat-pedal, but that is only a very temporary relief.
Any ideas are appreciated.

you're not the only one with this problem...
best solution I've found is to spray a little furniture polish on the pedal.
shuts it up for a few rides...
freakin' annoying...can't believe Look can't solve this issue.

Thanks for yr response.
I have tried chain oil, grease and silicone spray, but they don't last long.
This is pedal related, but I don't see any difference between that pedal and the others.

I rub a crayon on the front and rear mating surfaces (top of cleat, under latch point of pedal) and find that solves it. Some floating cleats will also squeak where the rubber traction pad rubs the pedal's top plate, If so, a smear of silicone O-ring grease solves it. (I don't know if it has to be O-ring grease, but I have it for my dive equipment and know it's OK for rubber and plastic so that's what I use).

Thanks for the responses.
I have tried lubricating the latch points so I'll try the pedal surface with grease.

I had the same problem with Look cleats squeaking. Wax works for a temporary fix. Switching to Shimano pedals and cleats fixed it permanently.

I had some squeaky Look "Delta" cleats. Got new cleats, still squeaked when climbing, but since they were new I could see a mark where the spring tab on the pedal was rubbing the cleat.
I got my electric drill, biggest bit that would fit and went about 1/16 " into the cleat. Then a sharp knife to widen it a bit.
3 hour ride yesterday, 0 squeaks !
I may grind down the same area of the pedal a little bit.
