I can't believe this bike isn't getting any attention. Price seems very reasonable after reviewing the build thread.

*Bump!* Price reduced to $750 without the bell, saddle, pedals, toe clips and straps, as mentioned in the first post.

This one is killing me. My size and I’d really like something of this era. I’m planning to move some stuff out this fall, but bad timing for me!
If it goes unsold for another month or two I’ll have to do something drastic.
Beautiful build.

*Bump!* Still for sale in the same condition as described, sitting quietly in the corner of my old childhood bedroom at my parents' place which has been partially converted to a bicycle storage area...

If everything could just be called 'Super Python' today, I feel that would solve a lot of the worlds problems.
"What's that new laptop you got man? Looks awesome.' ....'Dude, its the Super Python.'
'What new coffee maker should I bu....Oh whoa, there's the Super Python Coffee Maker! I'm getting it!'
Lovely bike, btw.

I was lucky enough to get theClaud Butler from Kilroy. Packing job and communications were excellent as is the bike. I had to borrow the Bars and brake from the Mercian so I could ride the Claud as soon as I got it. It's oh so sweet. What will a 70 year old carbon fiber bike look like? Thank you Kilroy

I'm still watching, but having no luck clearing out any of my excess bikes. I'll be at the Tucson bike swap this Sunday, so wish me luck.

Such a great bike, built up with period quality English parts.
Good for another several decades of riding.
Very reasonable too, I'd expect this to be double the offering price.
Maybe you'll have luck at the GABA swap. I used to live in Tucson and still get the GABA Emails. It's supposed to be real big this year.

Thanks for the comment, macstuff . Sadly, I don't have time to make it to the swap meet or any other events unless they happen to be local. I'm a full-time professional trying to finish graduate school and expecting the arrival of our first child just after the new year. Just need to move this along to someone who's interested in picking it up or getting it shipped. Cheers!

One final bump to celebrate the sale of this Carlton Super Python to a fellow forum member! It's an incredibly handsome machine and I'm happy to pass it on for someone else to get the opportunity to enjoy now!
