New Bike
I'm looking for a good deal on a vintage bike via CL. My max is 350. I'm a complete noob when it comes to vintage bikes and have no idea what to look for. it seems like the NYC CL is littered with Schwinn varsities and a bunch of univega and miyatas are these quality bikes?

I certainly do not recommend paying big bucks for a Varsity - Miyatas/Univegas are generally good bikes, but not all of them are created equal.
Before you spend that much on anything, best to hang out here and learn as much as you can. You will be surprised how much and how quickly you will learn.
