Does anyone here still have one of these? Roubaix Comp full carbon..
Just picked this up tonight, and pretty much stole it for $155. Very little wear on it. Still has the plastic pedals that came out of the box, and even a pair of Profile Design Cobra triathlon bars that will be coming off as soon as I have time to work on it. Yes, I have
a LOT of bike tech experience, so no real challenge to get it back up and running. I am trying to narrow down the year. It has the woven carbon frame, which the main reason I bought it, that and the price. I am guessing it is somewhere around 2008-2011.,,,,BD

No idea on the year, just chiming in to say it's cool to see the Dude active again as it's probably been a few years since I saw you post.
Solid bike to use as for your reappearance.

and way too many close calls... At 56 I can't really bounce back from crashes like I used to. Sooo, I may have to make special trip out into the sticks, and hope I am not the victim of a coal rolling redneck teenager.,,,,BD

2007 with a matching Blue Book price. Not sure why anyone would ever by new. I haven't ridden one but there was a lot of experimenting with the wraps then to get strength and a compliant ride. Let us know what you find. Good to see you back up and posting.

I have a Roubaix from 2013 and it has internal shifter cables, I suspect this is 1-3 years earlier so I suspect roughly 2010-12.
It's a fine bike if intact but will not be popular with "serious" cyclists who want fancier drivetrains and disc brakes.

Great find and reasonable price for that bike. Enjoy it and ride the crap out of it.

Good thing I don't give a damn what serious cyclists like. Sorry but disc brakes on a road bike will always be foolish in my opinion. There's a lot more fear of failure....

I had a 2007 and now a 2012 and they are great bikes., I think the one you have is older than the 2007. Great price and I think they are good bikes for the money .
I have about 34k on mine. I did change the components to all ultegra 6800 . Nice ride.

No, I just don't waste my time talking to people like you. I don't have that kind of energy or time. Just go away. Don't go away cocky, just go away.

If it’s structurally sound, nice find! Someone would probably pay more than that for the working 10 speed Ultegra, so it’s like a frame, cockpit, and wheels for free!
re: disc brakes. Not strictly necessary on the road, in the dry, but having both hydraulic disc and cable rim brakes, and riding them back to back, it is nice to have the lighter lever action on hydro - hands kind of hurt after 5 mi of descending!

Amazing deal. Much envy.
If you haven't tried aero bars before, unless you'd be embarrassed to be seen out on the road with them, you might try leaving them on for a few rides. Lots of us love the increased efficiency and reduced pressure on the nerves in the hand.

You also seem to have a problem with reading comprehension....

sorry, bad pics from my tablet,
A 2010 Robaix I bought almost 2 yrs back for a good price, wish it was as good as yours. Is that an oval crank on your bike? Just replaced crank and BB on mine, as far as I know, all else is original. Comfortable bike and I actually like the look. Have my eye out for a cheap rear wheel so I can get it on the road once in a while, original is weighty with a ton of spokes. Love the seat.
