SRAM GXP 2.5mm Bottom Bracket Spacers
I'm converting my road bike GXP Cranskset to a MTB one, which requires the addition of 2.5mm spacers on each side of the Bottom Bracket. I'm having trouble sourcing them as most all my Google searches come up with the BB-30 2.5mm spacers.
Are the 2.5mm spacers for the GXP and BB-30 Bottom Brackets the same? If not and I need a dedicated GXP 2.5mm spacer, anyone got a good source?
Thanks in advance.

Your post is a little confusing, but I assume from your other post that you are switching to an MTB crankset from a road crankset. If you have a threaded GXP bottom bracket, any 2.5mm spacers for a threaded bottom bracket will work. If you buy a new bottom bracket, it will come with the spacers. I have a pile of them on my bench (from not needing them for road builds) I suspect any local bike shop has a bunch of them laying around as well.

I got it all out together tonight with the 2.5mm spacers on each side. The shaft still sticks out about 5mm on the crank side. Is this normal?

It is never flush with the bearing on the drive side with a GXP crankset. The non drive side bearing is captured between the crank arm and a shoulder on the spindle to prevent any side to side movement of the spindle. As long as the driveline looks ok and the spacing between the crankarms and the chainstays looks similar on both sides, its fine.

i did measure from the bottom bracket face to the crank arm face on each side and they come out equivalent. Symmetry of spacing is good.
