Michelin Power Time Trial for a Century?
Looking at the rolling resistance rate on these tires they seem like they might make doing a Century just a touch easier. I’ll be attempting my first this fall and looking for anything that will help. Opinions ?

My first century was on 2.125x26 tires on my Worksman cruiser. The right tires are important if you're trying to take 10 seconds off your time, otherwise, not a big issue.

A century race, maybe? A century ride or audax, I don't see the point. Especially if you may be sacrificing durability or puncture resistance over whatever you're using now.

I've been riding a slower but still quick tire, the vittoria corsa, for a few years of audax and it seems to have led to a perception of an easier time to put down the same speed that I used to. I think just moving away from something like gatorskins or marathons would help a lot.

Compared to what? They'll save you 20 watts compared to Gatorskins, 3 watts compared to Conti 5000. Of course fast tires will help. Be sure to run latex tubes in them. Also tight clothing, nothing flapping, ever.
