Does Anybody Ride an Orbea Avant M20?
I been looking at getting an endurance bike to add to my stable. I've been looking at the Trek Domane SL 6. However, I've owned all Treks since 1993, and I've been looking at other brands, which in Wisconsin seems hard to find a LBS that sells anything other than Trek. If they sell any other brands it seem to be an afterthought. A LBS is now selling Orbeas, which by spec and price similar to the Domane.
I'm looking for Orbea owner opinions about their bikes, particularly the Avant series. How do feel about your bike's ride, fit, finish, and overall quality?
I didn't want to pose the question as "Should I buy bike X or bike Y?", however, I will take on any opinions people may have.

My best road bike hands down years ago was a Orbea Orca full SRAM Force componetry. Was absolutely a rider’s bike in all aspects. Easy to ride and you could race it too.
I often go to their site t see their new offerings. I would love to get another one day. I do not know much on the Avant series however.
Oh, you ask about fit and finish of a Orbea......hands down mine was flawless in all aspects. What minor scratches that it received was by me and they were very minor.

I just sold an Orbea carbon bike for a friend that was about 10 years old and the bike was flawless. I would have no hesitation buying that brand on the quality that I saw.

I like speed
I can't tell you much about the Avant but like Germanrazor, can speak to an Orbea Orca.
The current bike in the stable is a 2020 Orbea Orca M30 and I love it. Previously I've had Cannondales, Giant and Look. Honestly, the fit and finish is hard to beat. I'd have to agree its definitely a rider's bike. It's quite smooth but still very stiff.

I have a 2017 Orbea Avant M30, I would not hesitate to buy another. (hopefully if I get a Christmas bonus this year, I will add an M20 Team D) Very comfortable to ride. I absolutely love it!

Thanks to all for your help. Think I'm going to pull the trigger on this.

I dont think you will be disappointed at all. GREAT bike. This is mine, taken last year I think. I have since changed out the bottle cages for some nicer ones.
