I traded a Reuben sandwich and a side of cole slaw for a Trek Beach Cruiser.

I was browsing beach cruiser images on my computer at work one day, and a co-worker sat down beside me and says, "Whatcha doing"? I said, "I'm in the market for a new beach cruiser." He says, "I bought one for my ex-wife ten years ago. That b**ch. You can have it." He said he would call her that night and tell her when he comes to get the dog later he would be taking the bike too. At that point I just figured it probably wasn't going to happen (you know how dealings with ex's usually go), but lo and behold, he called me the next day and said "I got your cruiser for you. I just need you to do one thing." I thought, "Oh, here we go. This deal just went south." He says, "Since you're getting a free bike, how about you stop at Dodge City (local western-themed restaurant) and get me a Reuben sandwich and a side of cole slaw and we'll call it even?" And that's how I made the best trade of my life and ended up with this!

What you need to do is find out what else he bought her. Could be a boat, a camper, who knows? That's a great find there.

Awesome!

(If you would've thrown-in a Coke, you might've gotten the dog, too!)

I just got one for free but looking at the pic you posted I'd say you got a far better deal than I. Congrats.

Piker.

The least you could have done is bought him a beer (or coke) to go with the sandwich.

not a cruiser fan here, but seems like you made a fair trade.

Hopefully you bought a Reuben for yourself as well.

Been craving those lately for some reason.
