This last bit about meeting away from your home is now standard practice for me. I've dealt with a few spooky characters lately and I'm REALLY glad they don't know where I live!

I got my RockHopper locally on CL about four years ago from a guy who now owns a LBS in town. A great deal. It was $50 for not quite a whole bike.
I can’t recall for sure, but I think I found the Schwinn on CL, as well.
So, basically I ride the heck out of two cheap, old bikes I got on CL. Cool.
