There is water at the OHV parking area just past East Fork bridge as well as the snack bar at Crystal Lake. The stream water is delicious though.

Why don't you drink from the stream? Its probably some of the cleanest water you could drink believe it or not.

We camped next to a stream a couple weeks ago. The water tasted great! Better than any bottled water!

Precisely, as long as you collect from an area it's running it's safe, clean and delicious.

The concept of free and natural water is foreign to most people. So sad.

It's a spring not a stream. Big difference. Been drinking there for years

+1000 That spring has cleaner water than comes out of any tap in the Southern California area.

+1,000,000

I was raised on water that tasted like it was filtered through an old muffler. It was perfectly healthy.

It.s on a switchback at about the 4000 ft. mark. There is a cabin there and a small turnout across the road.Drink from the spring furthest from the cabin and watch for cars, We were spoiled all the years the road was closed.
