Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sram Force eTap AXS

Hello,
I would like to buy the latest SRAM Etap axs hydrolique 1X12 groupset at the best price online.
I would like to know if it is possible to change the gears only with the right brake control.
or if you need the AXS on both sides to raise and lower the gears.

In this case, I could buy a cheaper normal sram force hydro brake order.
I am also a buyer if you have links and discounts to buy at the lowest price.

Correct the right shifter move the chain to the right and the left to the left. But you could add blips (remote buttons) and mount a blips on the right side and wired to the left shifter.

This is an option for a rider with one hand.

Or anyone who wants some control over the bike when they take a hand off the bars...

Or save money by keep using the left brake. Either way. I am curious if you can program it to shift up and down with the left. This could be just a software update.
Blips are super expensive for what it is ! It is just a stupid button with (off course) a proprietary connector...

Axs only has one button per lever (unlike di2), so it's not possible for one lever to shift both directions.

One shifts up the cassette, the other down. In a 2x setup, pressing both simultaneously shifts the front mech.

If you are doing it on a budget why not get Ultegra Di2?

I was about to make that comment yesterday when I wrote my initial reply, but I didn't. I never really understood why people want to upgrade to luxury components & try to save a few $ by mixing parts. If I don't have the money, I usually keep saving until I do or buy something cheaper.
