Rubber/Plastic seal of the handle missaligned

Hi,

While cleaning my bike I found that the handle seal is partially pulled out. I am not sure how this happened as the bike is just one week older.
Can someone plz guide me how I can fix it?

Note: I am not able to attach the image, as its asking to post atleast 10 posts :S

thanks

Better get your post count up to where you can upload a picture. It's not at all clear what you're referring to here.

But if the bike is only a week old, take it back to the shop where you bought it and have them look it over.

If you are referring to the plug that inserts into the end of your handlebar, just tap it back in. If it's something else, we'll need more info.

Welcome to Bike Forums, I hope you stick around.

The pic looks like it shows the headset may not have been installed correctly into the head tube of the frame. Looks like I can see bearings, and that the bearing retainer ring is bent.. Is the fork wobbly? Get that to the shop and have it corrected. If it is a loose headset, you don't want to be riding it.

+1. Take it back to the shop before riding it again. We could be wrong but that bearing cage looks bent to me too and could cause damage to the head tube.

No, it does't wobble at all, but I will definitely get it back to mechanic.
