Any love for Nexus IGH wheels?

I bought these years ago because I thought it would be cool to have a IGH 'city bike'....well I don't really live downtown and cruise with the Hipsters so I am thinking of selling these fabulous wheels but what to ask? I just never seem to ride this bike for some reason, I think despite the raised BB it is just a bit small. I'd be surprised if these wheels even have 500 miles on them maybe closer to 200 or 300.

The rear hub is a Shimano Nexus Red Stripe 8speed and the front is a Shimano Dynamo QR hub and both are laced to 700c Salsa Delgado Cross rims with SS spokes. I of course have the shifting 'cassette' along with the washers including the only sold separately and hard to obtain vertical dropout washer. The black on the rims is more from the old soft brake pads rather than any actual wear.

I need to dust them up a bit and definitely get the bike outside for better pics. Any idea of an asking price?

I believe the JTek bar end is long out of production what would that go for with the wheels?

My wife had a 3 speed Nexus IgH city bike. We used to live in a kind of hilly town and it was her commuter for the 2 mile ride to work with one hill. We moved to a hillier town and the 3 speed, even after trying a change to smaller chainring and bigger cog, didn’t cut it. I bought a crashed Bikes Direct city bike with 8 speed hub (frame/fork, front wheel bent, everything else like new) for $50 only to realize my wife’s bike was 120 mm rear spaced. Derp. I sold the 8 speed rear wheels and shifter I think for $50 or $75.

At any rate the 3 speedhub was good, worked well. Sometimes would gear slip on a steep hill, standing on the pedals. I would think the wheelset and light on yours, maybe $150-200. No idea really onthe whole bike except it should command a good price in these Covid high bike demand times. A ready to go dynamo lit commuter should be popular.

I guess there really is no love for IGH wheels on this forum. Maybe I need to rethink and sell of or trade the frame for a nice Mixte and put the wheels on that.....HHhhmmmmmm...........................

I'm clueless on the value also. I've sorta been toying with a similar setup on the weird trekking bike I'm now using as my "around town" errand bike/light gravel rider. Gotta sort out wheel specs on what it came with as the rear is a bolt on, rim braked job and the front is QR disc. 700c but not sure of axle width and such. Still, I'd think a couple of hundred for a setup similar to yours wouldn't make me blink. Just haven't been researching this yet so not sure what a realistic price would be.
