23 leisurely miles @ 16.5. 42* and cloudy but thankfully no wind. Only did a small climb of 320’ all at one shot. Never climbed it before and Looking at Strava, I squeaked into a top 10 finish. Now I know I am being scored, I need to go back to that darn little hill and hammer it to improve my place. Curse you Strava!

Nothing special, just my usual ride. But I would like to point out the offers of help I got while fixing my flat. I woke up to a rear flat so figured it was a slow leak. It was fine for most of my ride until the last few miles. I went over a small rock and pffffft....that was it. Pulled over and went through the whole tube changing bit. All and I mean ALL of the cyclists that went by, even going the opposite direction, asked if I was ok. Even during our current COVID situation, there's still that tinge of helpfulness out there.

A really nice day for a shortish spin around Blowing Rock, NC with most of the miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Some very nice views even without any foliage. A tad breezy today on unprotected ridges. 35 miles with 3500’ of climbing.

34.6 miles. A "dual jacket, long underwear" ride in slowly dropping temps and stiff headwinds. Nice to still see some colors on the trees.

I did a casual, slow paced 20 miles today. Y'day I got in 40 to top the 7000 mile YTD, now at 7040. Less than 300 to get to mile goal of 7320 for 2020. That will give me an avg. of 20 miles for everyday of 2020.

I did my first metric century today. Just about 64 miles, 5,450 feet of climbing including a pr on one of the longer climbs in the area. Great fall day, crisp and clear.

Tired now and I'm off to find something to eat.

Lovely ride today. A group of vintage road bikes and a ride around San Diego Bay. 70+ degrees with a beer stop, 35 dead flat miles.

Mid to upper 50's in the Portland area with no rain (albeit wet roads) in mid November? Darn tootin' I rode!

Even shaved 5 seconds off my 40k route PR, which is not expected in November.

incredile amount of water in a short period of time! I had a long ride planned for Friday that was going to take me through Alexander County and over the Brushy Mountains. They wound up getting more rain than anywhere else. That was where the campground flooded and several people died. Anyway my wife didn’t want me going that way as there very well could have been bridges out. Probably good advice.

I heard, sad. We're downstream from the Piedmont, so as well as the high water we had from our rain, the creeks and rivers are still rising here.

Never did hit 32 F yesterday. Chilly ride!
This is the warm up point on a 23 mile ride. 2 weeks ago it was 70, and it's been downhill since.

Got in a stunning late fall day's ride on Wed. the 19th. It was 70 F and sunny, just a bit breezy but for Nov. in So. Colorado it's day you just gota "RIDE"!! 20 miles mix of urban/rail trails and back streets! The upcoming weather takes a DIVE 40 F with possible "rain or lite snow showers" for the next 4 days!!

Protein Bar break on the Rock Island Trail in Co. Spgs., CO.

70 F, sunny and a empty rail trail! We only have 3 actual "rail trails" here the rest are urban trails.

Hit the farm country on a wet day with my repurposed “water wing”. Nice having a dry bum after 30 miles of wet roads.

A few photos from today’s 82 mile ride from my house.

Kannapolis Trolley.....mask up!!

Zebras were out today!

A golf hole from Foxwood Golf Course which has been closed for several years. My father-in-law and I played there some time ago. It wasn’t a memorable course.

Lunch....the footlong special!

An interesting vine covered house that’s definitely seen it’s better days, but still has a lot of character. It would take a lot of courage to trick or treat at that house. Maybe we’ll see it in a Horror flick**********

Took the ferry from Bridgeport, CT to Port Jefferson, NY on Long Island. 63 miles to Fire Island National Seashore and back, Weather was in the 50s and a little breezy, not too bad for mid November.

It's depressing to see the large number of abandoned houses, some like the one above seem too nice to let waste away. The old NASA looking silo from today's ride has seen better days too

November weekends have all been great so far - from today's +60° ride, 40 miles

Got in my easiest 20 miler from home. Been quite a few days since last ride so I just cruised before the final uphill slog.

lugged steel, compact crankset, tubular wheels. Possibly time for a different saddle. Probably Selle SMP something.
