Free: Tandem project - big/small frame - SEA pickup

Greetings,
We had fun for a few years but the odds of getting my 16yo daughter back on this thing are close to zero. It’s kind of rough and I was planning on fixing it up and selling it but I’d rather give it away and go riding. Available free in Seattle...no shipping...Frame (Atala...early 70s?) wheels/tires (27”), cranks, derailleurs, and whatever else you see. Frame is 63x60/52ish. Paint is rough, no dents, rides good. Wheels nice. Wouldn’t take much to get it going. happy to send any additional pics.

Been looking for exactly this with a tall captain and shorter stoker, especially with a step through.

I'm probably delusional but gonna try, we'll see.

Wow, that could have been a cool project for my wife and me - love the Stronglight 99 tandem cranks! But I guess three tandems is probably enough already.

If your wife changes your mind, merziac...

I want dibs if it doesn't work out! Provided you deliver it to Northern Iowa that is.... I have been half ass looking for reasonably priced tall/short tandem. I'm afraid to spend much in case I have to ride it alone. I have too many other bikes I'd rather ride!

I guess it would depend on exact sizes and price.

Yeah, after your wife leaves you; send me a PM. I like pushing the envelope, too. Although I think the stoker position at 52cmm is still a bit big for the short and squatty Mrs Caveman

Best of luck.
