Hello from the Bay Area California
Hi all. I'm on the Peninsula in the Bay Area, California.
In the past I have done a lot of mountain biking - cross country, downhill, dirt jumping, etc. I went a number of years without a bike, but have stayed fit doing spin classes in conjunction with strength training.
Back in May I finally got a bike again. I am tired of surgeries and injuries from the more technical aggressive riding I did in the past and want to transition to more road riding while still being able to ride some of the great less technical trails around. I picked up a 2020 Santa Cruz Stigmata and I'm in love.
I've been doing about 80% - 90% road riding with lots of climbing, but still link up what trails I can.
Anyone local feel free to look me up and add me on Strava - Kai Johnson.
