Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Here's a link to the Dolan frame.

I'll be honest and say that I have never lusted after an aluminum framed bike, fixed or not. But this one is speaking to me. I love the smooth welds.

The build on the bike is spot on. Very nice.

What bar end shifter are you using? Is it a Sturmey Archer? That is a great solution for drop bars.

Nothing wrong with that. Looks like a comfy ride to me. Love the colors and the condition is sweet.

Me too, but I must admit that is an imitation Speedster, much like imitation crab meat isn't real crab meat. It's a Schwinn but not an American made Schwinn and the only thing Speedster about it is the styling and the decal set on the chain guard.

Still, I love it like a homeless puppy.
