Cracked carbon or just paint?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

^^^ In fairness, the paint job on that kids' bike looks to be quite a bit better than the paint job on that multi-thousand dollar Pinarello frame... which is also quite sad.

Then just maybe this QC issue is why the frame was so cheap.......just thinking. I too do not understand the exorbitant prices on Pinny’s. But to each their own and without variety, life would be boring.

I built my first road bike from the ground up and painted the hanger myself -- not while it was on the bike, though...

I’m taking the gamble. If it breaks, hopefully, Pinarello will cover it.

Probably will be fine. Enjoy the build-up and ride it with a smile.
