Is this a Guerciotti?
It looks that at least the frame us Guerciotti.
What about the fork?
The person who sold it to me said that the bike was repaint and it has a sticker on it.
It has a mix of Campagnolo and Suntour components.
The rear derailleur is marked 84.
The seat post is 27.2mm.
Any comments are welcome.

It has all the looks of a Guerciotti, perhaps a mid 70's model. Mine is a 80's with the treatment from Ten Speed Drive for the paint. The newer one has a different stay cap, embossed brake bridge and embossed fork crown, the fork stiffeners also has a star cut out in them. I would say it is original. Smiles, MH

I think it's a Billato (who was making frames for Guerciotti) sans the fork crown "G" and the printed "Guerciotti" on the spooned seat stays. Maybe they were trying to make a little money on the side while doing contract work. No real way to disguise the BB, that's the real deal for a Gerch.

I thought, after seeing the year of the rear derailleur, that the fork is a replacement.
But as you told me know, it can be original.

The bike looks to be authentic based on the kug details, lack of braze ons and engraving it's a 70's frame that frame that has been rebuilt with 80's components and repainted. While whoever did the paint and rebuild did great job so you likely got your moneys worth on this bike if you spent $500 or less on the bike.

At the $500 price I assumed you got wheels too. Even without the wheels you got a very good deal as is still worth about $300. The only catch is in order to resale the bike at a good price if you want is you will likely need to find a nice vintage wheel set with with Campy hubs or part it out. Myself I would just find a nice basic wheel set and keep as a nice vintage rider.
