Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I did test ride a customer bike today.

So I raced the new mountain bike that I got on Friday today.

At 9000 feet (4000 above where I live)

With a headache

After having ridden many a mile yesterday

And then I won.

It's about time I win something, I'm tired of being second. I won by 1:40, too, which was sustancial in an hour race. Unfortunately that means I should race up next time, but the next category is pro/expert, and I don't think I'm that good. Ah well, good day.

Great job!

And quit complaining. Most riders complain about being pack fodder and would kill for 2nds.

When the wife was on OP SOPRANO in South Sudan, she was living off the economy for feeding, so I would send her care packages of food.

One of them was 48 cans of beets. They were on sale, and it was funny.

I have not seen a hospital bill
Me neither. What's a "hospital bill"?

More trail work last night. I think I'm going to concentrate on drainage work for the next couple of days and see if I can't get the wet spot cleaned out. With that done and the new stuff dried out, I'll have about 500m of new trail rideable.

Rode the Dummy to work today. No crabon yet - I want to set a baseline first.

Where *is* pcad?

Well actually it has to do with the veterinary expertise at U Minnesota, there's a guy there who is big into the study of epilepsy. The company is actually out of Texas. Well, was out of Texas. They are now bankrupt.
