I made some pan-fried chicken and a medley of roasted vegetables tonight.
I vastly underestimated how long it takes to roast veggies, and ate my chicken an hour before the rest was done.

Casually Deliberate
Very surprised Marcus Mariota is still a Titan as of now. Def thought Chip Kelly would make a trade to acquire him for the Eagles and Tennessee would try for the giantish defensive player they need. Wouldn't Leonard Williams have made more sense?
Not surprised the Bucs went with Jameis Winston as predicted. The good part about that is they don't have to wonder if he's going to get a big contract and start making questionable decisions because history. They know who they're getting already.

I am so embarrassed. I went to the wrong Addiction thread and couldn't get in. I banged on the door and rang the bell, and even shouted some things that might be considered obscenities. Fortunately, my ruckus woke the nice Hispanic family next door, and they told me the Addicts had moved. Thanks for the warning guys!!?!??! It's not like it's the end of the month or something!!!

That's odd. It only takes about 15 minutes for most green veggies. Hard root veggies like turnips, potatoes, etc. might take a little longer, around 1/2 hour. The trick is to use high temperature, at least 400 deg F. That is how you get them done and also achieve the desired caramelizaton, aka browning.

FINALLY I get a relatively free day where I can knock some things off my to-do list. Between the wife's cataract surgeries, training the whirling dervish Sadie, mending fences before Sadie finds the weak spots, and softball practices, I've neglected a bunch of other routine things the last couple of weeks. Now today I gotta wait around for the plumber to come make essential repairs in the master bathroom ... when does the madness end?

More fence mending today ... I really should have done some of this last fall. Plus gotta take Sadie out for more socialization training ... Last weekend she was growling at some of the other dogs out on the MUP. f I can't get that out of her she will have to go back to the shelter, I'm not having another dog like Moose that I can never take anyplace where we might encounter other dogs. Moose hated anything on four legs. I'm not having that again. Today is a big test for Sadie.
