that’s a nice color. Really nice bike. I opted to paint my kilo wt myself (should’ve considered powder coating) and hoping to ride it very soon. Nice bike!

Thanks - the tires are Clement Xplor USH, 700x35. They came with the bike and seem pretty good. The smooth center section throws up a lot less sand/rocks compared to the Gravelking SKs on my geared bike and seems to roll well on pavement. The frame has room for a bigger tire, though, so I'm looking for something with a little more volume.

Thanks for that. It is always good to get good feedback! I'll put them on my list of potentials. BTW, what year is that bike?

No idea. I think this was one of the first colors, 2011/2012ish?

This one's a 52cm, and I'd really like to swap it for a 55.. if anyone knows of one for sale.

Love your original Madison! I had the chance to buy one that was NOS, but sadly it was not my size. BTW, I think phobus's bike is a Nature Boy. I love that shade of green. All City has come out with some really nice colorways.

Yeah, it's a Nature Boy. That makes three canti bikes for me now, it's #savetherimbrake headquarters over here.

I, for one, also love cantilever brakes. So long as they are set up properly, have good pads and levers that pull the appropriate amount of cable, they are as good as anything in my book.
Also, it is nice that the Nature Boy has the bottle cage on the downtube. That is the one niggle I have with my Big Block, the bosses being on the seat tube. But I can live with it.

Properly adjusting canti's is like anything else in life. After you do it a few times and get the hang of it it's a no brainer. But for the impatient type there's always mini V brakes you can run instead. Canti's are my favorite brakes and this comes from someone with a hydraulic disc bike.

And depending on which brakes you have, these help too!

This isn't mine, but I'm probably going to buy a Wabi Thunder later this year. They posted this custom color on FB and I love it. I have a vintage Univega bike almost the exact color. In person it's really sharp.
