Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Either he's too busy with his GF to bother with us, or she sobered up and he's too depressed to face us.

The ride to get to downtown is largely the same as my commuting ride, except the last 2 or so miles. No real reason to ride the same tired route again for that, unless I keep going to parts south of the river, where Strava chica rides. But you're talking 25 miles just to get to there. And in recent times I've been low-energy--not a high mileage rider like the Doc is.

No. My survey of her recent rides indicates she mostly rides south of the river. I do not.

Daughter #1 is French Horn/Music Education Major at West Chester University.

Daughter #2 is HS senior plans to study film at USC in the fall, assuming they HAVE a fall semester.

edit: partly my error. Sorry for any confusion. These are trying times.
