Terrible Service - Outside Outfitters
I suggest that you do NOT purchase goods from Outside Outfitters. I ordered a few parts that were unavailable at my LBS. I paid extra for 3-day shipping. After more than two weeks, I received no follow up communication and my order still did not ship. (They did charge my credit card.)
I sent an email requesting a complete refund on the unshipped order, including my shipping fee. After 3 days, my email received no reply. I called to request a refund and received a lecture that my expectations to receive goods in less than two weeks was unreasonable. After finally agreeing to refund me, the clerk hung up the phone on me.
Outside Outfitters is a bad company. Do not patronize.

Always be kind to customer service people, they are just employees who take for heat for the companies and will more often than not do what ever they can to help.
They are people first, If you show kindness, understanding and listen to them...they will most often reciprocate.
But I would also agree with you Companies can be like people, some are good and some are bad, your experience is noted here for all to see.

Update: Three weeks later. Still no refund. Still no product. Still no communication.
Filed complaint with Missouri Better Business Bureau and Missouri Attorney General.
Do not patronize Outside Outfitters!

Just call your credit card company, dispute the sale, and have the charges refunded.
