Which totally reminds me... the 'how to protect derailleur hangers' thread tonight made me realize I failed to leave feedback from recent transactions.
Recent bike swap with @sloar : His end was flawless, pro-packed, fast ship, no BS. I felt bad when USPS lost the bike I was sending him for a few days, but after riding their ass daily, it arrived intact.
Had a couple of frame sales and multiple part swaps with @3speedslow recently : I know when he's buying, I'm not going to deal with any nonsense. Pays quick, is flexible on payment and always trades more than fair.
Just wanted to take a sec to say "thanks" guys, I appreciate you both. You've helped me complete a couple of projects and scratch at least one bike off the bucket list now...

Bought a Cyclone MK II FD/RD set from @purebikes. Took a couple weeks to sort things out but he came through in the end. Would work with again.

Did a front derailleur trade with kevins08, who said he shipped on the 16th of March. I have received nothing at all, and shipped an NOS 8 speed XT front derailleur to this person. Deal at your own risk with this "member".,,,,BD

FWIW, I had this happen once with a forum member. I finally heard from him after a month apologizing for the delay and telling me how hectic his life was. Got the part a week later. I understand circumstances and delays happen but leaving the other party in the dark is not acceptable. A little communication could easily smooth things out. Hopefully it'll work out for you.

It's worse when they say they have shipped, and included a local microbrew for waiting for them to ship, and they left the tracking number in the car, when they never even shipped to begin with. The last I heard anything from him was 3/16.,,,,BD
EDIT: I decided to PM one more time, and it apparently it made it through with the desired effect. There's a box with a tracking number scheduled to arrive today. I am not sure what's in it, but will advise when it shows up later. Still won't do business again, strictly for the fact that I was waiting on something that supposedly shipped, when it never was. It is what it is though. If I receive the derailleur today, then we're good.

And I've bought some things recently as well. Smooth transactions with:
@RobbieTunes - A couldn't resist deal on a set of Ambrosio Elites. Soon to be worn by an Ironman.
@delicious - For a super fine Regal saddle. Also for said Ironman
@lesterp66 - For a very nice Shimano 600EX brake set. Non-aero levers to be adorned by... you guessed it, the Ironman!
@acoffin - Took a pair of Rustines hoods off his hands. Hoping they fit the Superbe levers going on the Olmo.
Thanks guys!
