HELP! I can't find the brand name for this cruiser. There are so many smaller brands of cruisers and I am unable to identify this bicycle. The brand name has been scratched off but the badge is still on it. It looks like an S on the badge. The bike is a 7 speed with grip shift and V brakes. It has a one piece crank and is a low end bicycle. The handlebars looks to be a beach cruiser style. It looks like a very serviceable bike with a little work and can paint. It has a long top tube length. The seatpost is 18" long. I found this bike with a "FREE" sign on it a couple blocks over from my house.

I believe this is an S on the badge.

1 piece crank with a 7 speed rear. Probably a freewheel setup.

Rear wheel had a rather large dinosaur toy stuck between the spokes. I believe it was ridden that way.

I realized after posting these that I had a problem. I find that I'm able to size my pictures with the phone when it asks for the size of the picture. After emailing it to myself I download and find the large size is much better so I'll retake the pictures and post. I took a picture this evening of the badge.

One can see the badge better now. What brand is this?

Blue sticky tape on seat post tube. Cuts off fairly easy.
Hope this photo is good enough to identify the brand and model of this bicycle.

Also noted a factory installed water bottle feature. It is under the tape on the seatpost nearer the bottom bracket.

With very little effort this bicycle could be turned into an off road Klunker but with really good brakes. It has a 7 speed derailleur setup and all the proper cable runs installed. I have not measured the rear dropout spacing but it is steel so it can be 135mm without issue. The long wheelbase and kicked back headtube and seatpost guarantee a nice reliable riding bicycle that will be very comfortable too.

Don't recognize it, but if you know the country of manufacture, you could look at their brands beginning with "S" (Wiki). Otherwise find those beginning with S for Japan etc and look at the head badges for them. Thought it night be Shogun, but not.

Thank you 2old for the tips. I've already started looking. I still have this bike and have gotten some replacement components for it through normal wear and tear and component changes on my other bikes. I think it is made out of mild steel, which in my opinion is fine, and is in pretty good condition frame and fork wise. The rear wheel is a freewheel and has some broken spokes. For my weightyness the rear hub would have to be changed to a cassette hub to survive. The grip shift is worn out and not working but I have an older Shimano 7 speed SIS shifter that would work fine. If I find this manufacturer or sales outfit I'll publish it here.
