MZ, I'll make you feel real good.

I'm 5'9 1/2 and weigh 190. I'm the lightest I've been in 20 years. I like having upper body strength and am too fat for this sport as I proved to myself today.

OK --training related question.

I tried doing hill repeats for the 1st half of my ride Here is the Garmin data for it. Is this a good hill for this? (I didn't record the 1st lap since I didn't want to start at my house and forgot to turn it on)
What surprised me is that I thought I had completely blown up on the last lap and it was my fastest. I did not do a 6th for that reason. Should I have kept going until I physically could not get up the hill again?

I was 5'9 and weighed 187 back in February. I lost a lot of weight, obviously.

In sports news, I heard it's not very smart to invite a high school basketball recruit to your home for an unofficial and illegal visit, take a photo of the two of you, and then lie about it to the NCAA.

I think most people would suggest hill repeats on the order of ~5 minutes. Seems like you were a little short of that (?) but not by too much. Not bad.

I'm going to repost this here because I think it was a good question.

That would have to be quite a tail wind for it to make much of a difference.

Hey Razor,

I thought your ride is not until October? Why did you put the number up?

Also, I thought you were only doing one or two rides with those wheels, then changing them (a week or two ago)?

I'm curious about your busted carbon bars.

So you crashed, but didn't think they were broken, presumably because they were cracked under the tape. Then you raced again and they broke?

I'd have a hard losing that much weight, I'm already fairly skinny.

I crashed, I inspected them, they looked fine. A week later they broke when I hit a pothole.

I posted that before you or anyone responded to it on the other thread.

You're just one to jump on people for stuff even on "good behavior", aren't you?

I didn't disagree with your post.

Time for a short ride/blinky test.

At dusk I'm going to pull to the side of the road, flash the blinky at approaching traffic, and see if I can see any drivers squinting.
