Front rack that mounts to fork crown and dropouts
Does such a thing exist? Whether it's a basket/platform rack or a pannier rack, is there something out there that mounts via the fork crown bolt (ie, where caliper brakes on a road fork mount to) and the dropouts?
Something that mounts to the fork in a similar way as this rear rack mounts to the rear triangle:

check out Soma Fab - they have a few options.
i have the stainless porteur rack on one of my bikes, and that thing is a beast - i got doored and the rack came away pristine. the car door, not so much.

@tFUnK, what bike are you putting the rack on? I've seen people adapt rear racks for the front.

Bike camping setup with Axiom rear rack
Not committed to the bike or the setup but just wanted to brainstorm options. The thinking is to get rid of the handlebar bag for either a platform or a rack that takes panniers. Might swap to flat or townie bars as well.

Thanks Korina. The Sunlite looks promising, though I'm not sure how exactly it will fit into the QR skewer once on the bike. I'm not sure about the Wald basket due to wanting to keep things off the handlebars. But I guess Amazon should have some options. I looked there as well but there were so many results to sift thru, I guess I just need to be patient😅

I have this one. It's quite time consuming to install and remove, but once it's on, it works well. I decided my commuter bike is better suited to having a rear rack. I might put this front rack on one of my weekend bikes.
