From looking at the seatpost your bike looked like a Domane. A quick search of the Trek website confirms a Domane 5.2. Is that correct?

FYI - That is a great looking bike and I really like the colors. I just recently purchased a Domane 4.5 and the color is black and white.

When you get some miles in let us know how it rides.

That's one of the good things about being 50+, you can ride and enjoy your bike and not give aflying rats a$$ about what anybody else thinks.
12 mph or 21 mph, Enjoy the ride!

12 mph you say? Lets get together for a group ride.
You will be pushing me to speed up but I think I can hang on to your tail.

If I want another bike, I need a bigger condo. Bike #1 on a trainer in the living room, and Bike #2 leaning against the wall in my dining area... Hmmm.... maybe I can fit a bike friday in without changing my postal code.

Gorgeous bike, and...IMO--when my average speed "does my bike justice," that's a warning sign that I need to start shopping for a new ride. I last had to do that in 2005, and I don't think I'll have to do it again. I can only do my present ride justice when flying down a really large hill.
